Overview
Located in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood, Polène's New York boutique reflects the Parisian leather goods brand's approach to retail design and craftsmanship. JKM Architecture serves as Architect of Record for a targeted alteration within the existing store, involving modifications to architectural millwork and the atelier section. Working with design documentation developed by Polène's Paris office, JKM is responsible for adapting and coordinating the proposed modifications with New York City's applicable building regulations and permitting requirements. The project demonstrates JKM's role as a local architectural partner for international retail brands, supporting the implementation of overseas design concepts within New York's regulatory environment.
